My Long Thoughts can be roughly broken down into four categories:

Dear Diary – One-off pieces that are written impromptu, with minimal editing or planning.  These pieces are raw and give a snapshot of where I am at the time.

Observational – These are pieces of me thinking or discussing what I see and feel, often about the USA.

Introspective – These are pieces of me talking about myself and how I interact with the world around me.

Inspirational – These are pieces designed to be thought-provoking,  and are generally positive (but not always).

My Short Thoughts are not an organized collection of pieces in comparison to my Long Thoughts.  My Short Thoughts contain thoughts on language, fragments of poetry,  commentary on current events,  and other tidbits that didn’t warrant a developed piece of work.

Language Observations – Thoughts on words, real and fictitious, and how they are used.

Mental Scraps – A loose collection of thoughts and writings, including poetry, that need no further development.

One Ping Only – Ideas that are harmless or brief that was worth mentioning but don’t need long elaboration.

Perhaps late 2019 but certainly into 2020, I didn’t want to focus on the negative aspects of the message as much.  I tried to channel more positivity into my work consciously.  The break was noticeable, and here we are.  The format is still primarily the same, so I leave it as ‘The Alone Series,’ but it’s the Second Age of The Alone Series.

The Alone Series started due to VA Therapy. I was to chronicle things in a journal, and that became my first book. In an effort to learn to focus my thoughts better I began making captioned digital art, and the Alone Series was born. Each gallery has a rough theme and kind of shows where was in life at the time.  The Ten Years of Tragedy represents a negative focus in my works:  anger, despair, hopelessness, and more.
