Combat

From February through September 2011 I tried to encapsulate some of the feelings of a group of men throughout the entire cycle of war: build-up, deployment, combat, re-deployment, loss, grief, repeat.

Attack! was a breakthrough track for me.  It wasn’t the most popular with everyone when I first released it, but it encapsulated what became the Anchorwind signature(s):  Mechanical structures, quicker tempos, abrasive sounds, absurd layering, genre-hopping, and a gradual build up over time.  The Ambidustrial was born.
