Spike and Simon had just got up and walked away from a pub they believed to be ‘The Eternal Alchemy’ in disappointment, having discovered they had no floating mugs,\u00a0 when a young pink Sylvari face plants the floor directly in front of them!<\/p>\n
Sylvari, brushing herself off and laughing heartily:\u00a0 Oh,\u00a0 I wanted to get that thing up there.\u00a0 I didn’t mean to jump off.<\/p>\n
Spike and Simon glance at her, then each other and become infected by the contagious laughter.<\/p>\n
The pink Sylvari sees Simon and becomes momentarily startled,\u00a0 but then her innocent curiosity gets the better of her.<\/p>\n
Pink Sylvari:\u00a0 You’re…on fire?<\/p>\n
Spike smiles:\u00a0 You get used to it.<\/p>\n
Simon leans over and bows his head down, offering his flame for her.\u00a0\u00a0 After a brief moment, she waves her hand through it, and her face lights up when she doesn’t burn herself.\u00a0\u00a0 She shoves her hand in Simon’s head and wiggles her fingers around, giggling like a child with a new toy.<\/p>\n
Simon also giggles:\u00a0 Hey! That tickles!<\/p>\n
Spike arches an eyebrow:\u00a0 over 2 centuries, and I didn’t know you were ticklish…<\/p>\n
Pink Sylvari:\u00a0 You two are a team?<\/p>\n
Spike \/Flex:\u00a0 The best!<\/p>\n
Simon, grinning evilly – although you can’t tell:\u00a0 Yeah, we’ve done some neat things, I guess…<\/p>\n
The Pink Sylvari frowns:\u00a0 I don’t have a team.\u00a0 I’m kinda new.\u00a0 Just wandering around in this big new world.<\/p>\n
Simon’s flame dims:\u00a0 Do you have a name?<\/p>\n
The Pink Sylvari stamps her feet:\u00a0 Yes!\u00a0 I am Endearium!<\/p>\n
Spike:\u00a0 Imperium?<\/p>\n
Endearium:\u00a0 No,\u00a0 Endearium!<\/p>\n
Simon:\u00a0 Wow,\u00a0 Imperium,\u00a0 what a name.\u00a0\u00a0 Very…authoritarian?<\/p>\n
Spike:\u00a0 Yeah,\u00a0 and she’s so pink and cutsy…<\/p>\n
Endearium grumbles:\u00a0 My name is not Imperium!<\/p>\n
Spike and Simon both stop talking and look back at her.<\/p>\n
Endearium grumbles again:\u00a0 En-Dear-I-Um.<\/p>\n
Spike and Simon glance back at each other and shrug.<\/p>\n
Spike:\u00a0 So, Im-Per-I-Um,\u00a0 have you seen any floating mugs around here?\u00a0\u00a0 Supposedly a place called ‘The Eternal Alchemy’ has them.<\/p>\n
Endearium growls lowly: No and I never got your names, by the way.<\/p>\n
Spike stands up straight, suddenly:\u00a0 I’m Spike!<\/p>\n
Spike gestures:\u00a0 And he’s Simon!<\/p>\n
Simon’s flame puffs with pride!<\/p>\n
Endearium sighs:\u00a0 Easy names.\u00a0 @#$%.<\/p>\n
Spike, determined:\u00a0 Anyway,\u00a0 We’re going to continue looking for our floating mugs.\u00a0 We need to practice our Beer Curling before we find the Silverlocks again.\u00a0 Have to make sure our game is on point.<\/p>\n
Simon nods in agreement.<\/p>\n
The overwhelmed and blank stare of confusion in Endearium’s face is obvious.<\/p>\n
Spike, walking away and waving:\u00a0 You said you don’t have a team.\u00a0 You can join us, be a part of Team Anchorwind.\u00a0 Imperium Anchorwind has a nice ring to it.<\/p>\n
Endearium, snapping back to reality, growls loudly and gives chase:\u00a0\u00a0 It’s ENDEARIUM!\u00a0 What is this Anchorwind stuff?\u00a0 What is Beer Curling?\u00a0\u00a0 Who or what is Silverlock?\u00a0\u00a0 AAAHHHH!!!!!<\/p>\n
Simon laughs loudly and puts his arm around her young shoulder:\u00a0 Oh my,\u00a0 you have a lot to learn.\u00a0\u00a0 Hang with us,\u00a0 you’ll learn all you want to and more.<\/p>\n
Endearium smiles with innocent joy and waves her hand through Simon’s head again, giggling.<\/p>\n
Simon, pushing her away:\u00a0 Oh,\u00a0 @#$% that.\u00a0 You stop that right now!<\/p>\n
Simon takes off running down a corridor of Rata Sum,\u00a0 with a grinning Endearium giving chase – arm extended, pointing towards a flaming head.<\/p>\n
Spike smiles:\u00a0 Welcome aboard,\u00a0 Imperium.\u00a0 I think Crysania is going to like you.<\/p>\n
Endearium yells: I HEARD THAT!!!<\/p>\n
Spike chuckles, and runs after them.<\/p>\n
