{"id":26931,"date":"2019-02-14T10:16:32","date_gmt":"2019-02-14T15:16:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/anchorwind.net\/2\/?p=26931"},"modified":"2020-07-20T09:37:00","modified_gmt":"2020-07-20T13:37:00","slug":"my-knife-va-monologue","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/anchorwind.net\/2\/my-knife-va-monologue\/","title":{"rendered":"My Knife (VA Monologue)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I am intimately familiar with my knife.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve traced the carbon lines on its blade repeatedly.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>My knife is a well balanced work of craftsmanship.<\/p>\n<p>no detail overlooked, and I&#8217;ve wielded it for ages now.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve played with my knife,\u00a0 learned tricks with my knife.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve tried to both banish demons, and end myself with my knife.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I look at my knife sitting there just within arm&#8217;s reach.<\/p>\n<p>The basic leather wrap, worn and stained from my white knuckle grip.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>My knife is no longer in my grasp although I gaze at it longingly.<\/p>\n<p>Today, I made progress.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am intimately familiar with my knife.
