{"id":28845,"date":"2024-06-07T16:24:01","date_gmt":"2024-06-07T20:24:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/anchorwind.net\/2\/?p=28845"},"modified":"2025-01-22T11:15:59","modified_gmt":"2025-01-22T16:15:59","slug":"mantra-meditation-judge-and-worry-less","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/anchorwind.net\/2\/mantra-meditation-judge-and-worry-less\/","title":{"rendered":"Mantra Meditation &#8211; Judge and Worry Less"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mantra Meditation, in my opinion, is one of the most effective forms of meditation.\u00a0 Let us engage in a quick refresher:\u00a0 What is Meditation? \u00a0Meditation is any of a family of techniques we actively do wherein our intentions and our actions align.\u00a0 What is a Mantra?\u00a0 A Mantra is a word or phrase repeated for an effect.\u00a0 Therefore, Mantra Meditation is repeating a word or phrase to align your actions and intentions.\u00a0 The most popular Mantra Meditation is the \u2018Om\u2019 chant.\u00a0\u00a0 People debate the meaning of the word, but really, it\u2019s just a pleasant word to say.\u00a0 The \u2018O\u2019 half starts in the back of your throat, and the \u2018M\u2019 half ends vibrating your lips, so the chant moves in your mouth as you do it.<\/p>\n<p>Why do I believe in Mantra Meditation so strongly?\u00a0 It has to do with what I call \u201cThe Flow State Control Switch.\u201d\u00a0 All of us have moments when we are \u2018in the zone.\u2019\u00a0 We are flowing with the action in which we are engaged;\u00a0 we generally do not feel the passing of time and are more successful in our practice of presence.\u00a0 Another quick refresher:\u00a0 What is presence?\u00a0 Being present is engaging with life here and now non-analytically.\u00a0\u00a0 I discussed in my previous piece that a more advanced grasp of being present is the understanding our environment and ourselves are one and the same.\u00a0 Being in the flow state is that principle in action.<\/p>\n<p>Here in the \u2018States, the expected lifestyle imposed on us by the wealthy takes control of the switch away.\u00a0 By flooding every possible space with distractions, they pull you away from the present and away from the switch.\u00a0 These distractions vary widely \u2013 sexually based advertisements,\u00a0 fear and anger-based tribalistic \u2018culture war\u2019 nonsense to keep you engaged against a nebulous enemy that operates somewhere else, and other manufactured outrage pieces that place the blame on you rather than where it belongs.<\/p>\n<p>All of the distractions want you to judge things and want you to feel a certain negative way about the future.\u00a0 As we know, if we\u2019re judging, that means we\u2019re in our heads about something instead of being present.\u00a0 So, what\u2019s the solution?\u00a0 We need to do two things: Judge and Worry Less.\u00a0 That\u2019s the mantra,\u00a0 a four-word phrase packed with wisdom and intention.\u00a0 When we feel we\u2019re getting worked up or at a crossroads wondering which path to travel \u2013 Judge and Worry less.\u00a0 It will help you avoid paths that don\u2019t need to be traveled.<\/p>\n<p>Obviously, there are times we do need to exercise proper judgment, and there will be times we have to worry about something important.\u00a0 The mantra isn\u2019t \u2018Judge and Worry Never,\u2019\u00a0 that\u2019s not realistic.\u00a0 Reminding ourselves to Judge and Worry LESS is giving ourselves permission to keep walking instead of engaging,\u00a0 to let go instead of holding on. \u00a0\u00a0The mantra of Judge and Worry Less helps us further refine what is truly important and what is a distraction, and we don\u2019t need more distractions \u2013 other people throw enough of them at us already.\u00a0 Be Present; Let Go; You are Worth It.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Mantra Meditation, in my opinion, is one of the most effective forms of meditation.\u00a0 Let us engage in a quick refresher:\u00a0 What is Meditation? \u00a0Meditation is any of a family of techniques we actively do wherein our intentions and our actions align.\u00a0 What is a Mantra?\u00a0 A Mantra is a word or phrase repeated for [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_et_pb_use_builder":"off","_et_pb_old_content":"","_et_gb_content_width":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[337],"tags":[332,168],"class_list":["post-28845","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-the-mindfulness-journey","tag-332","tag-hope"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.4 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/product\/yoast-seo-wordpress\/ -->\n<title>Mantra Meditation - Judge and Worry Less - Anchorwind<\/title>\n<meta name=\"description\" content=\"Judge and Worry Less, a mantra to help us stay present and refine what is important vs what is a distraction.
